Gareth Hughes won the one mile Summer Handicap race by 20 seconds running along the embankment in 6:42. Sandra Ellison won the women's race with an 8:42 and Eric Cowdray won the junior race in 7:09. After the race Gareth said "Didn't expect that, but extremely happy." Fastest runner was Warren Norton in 5:14 and the fastest lady was Kat Cowdray in 6:36.
