The competitors in the Wallasey Athletic Club's Christmas Handicap held last Saturday at Leasowe enjoyed a friendly run in good conditions. The handicapping was carried out extremely well by Ray Woolley and John Lynch, the first ten runners in the over 16's race being very close to each other. The boys race was won by R. Harrison in 15 minutes 27 secs., second was Ron Barlow, who was just ahead of Jerry Williams. The fastest was Ron Barlow who ran 12 mins. 59 secs.
