A good turn-out and ideal weather made an enjoyable afternoon for all those who took part in the club's Christmas handicap last Saturday. The boys' event over 11/8 miles, saw R. McDonald, R. Barlow and A. Farrell in the first three places of the handicap event, closely followed by E. Warden, K. Tunstall and M. Hooker. Out of the nine runners taking part the three fastest were R. Barlow 9 mins. 2 secs., K. Tunstall 9 mins. 38 secs. and A. Farrell 9 mins. 53 secs.
