The Shrewsbury 10K was organised by Ultimate Fitness Events and started and finished in Quarry Park, one of Shrewsbury's most iconic green spaces. The accurately measured course wound through the historic streets of Shrewsbury, crossing the River Severn before passing through the grounds of Shrewsbury School. Early climbs were followed by a faster second half returning to Quarry Park, creating a rewarding route that blended challenge with the opportunity for a strong performance. Gareth Hughes made the trip to Shropshire and was rewared with a personal best of 54:05. Gareth said after the race "Yaayy a PB with almost two minutes knocked off my previous best. Very happy!"
