Sandra Riley and Sandra Ellison competed at the She Ultra Marathon on the Lleyn Peninsula. The race was advertised as the world's largest all female ultra marathon, with a motto of "No Cut Offs, Only Smiles." Sandra Riley said after the race "That was Brutal and beautiful, 10 hours of running, wind, hale. Started the SheUltra in hail! We must have had every weather on the day and it ended with very harsh hale stones. It's a micro climate they said. But what an amazing day! Rainbows waves on beaches, lambs and calves and more snacks that one can eat in a day! I ran with Sandra Giggle and great support from BPRC and Caet Cuthbert who ran along with us. Volunteers and locals helping and lots of beautiful scenery. It was tough! But we did it! First UltraMarathon completed!"
