Jim Backinsell travelled to Carmarthenshire to take part in the Great Welsh Marathon and finished in 4:05. Jim said after the race "Cut half hour off my PB in the Great Welsh Marathon (two years in WAC clearly made a massive difference!) - wet, breezy, cold and muddy - so basically like most of the training runs!"
