A new set of races called the Wirral Summer Trail Series started at Thurstaston Visitor Centre after being moved from the original location in Royden Park. Paul Griffiths was our first man home covering the 5 mile course in 34:28 (11th). Our first lady in a great second place was Elaine Opara in 37:41. There were age category wins for Elaine, Rab Whitworth and debutant Lisa Griffiths.
