On a warm evening Alec McIlwee led the 17 runners from Wallasey AC home at the fast and flat Ellesmere Port 5k. Alex finished in a spritely 15:35 for eleventh place, not far behind was Louis Gorman in 16:37. Paulena Kremling was our first lady in 18:31 (tenth lady). Vicky McConnell won her age category.
