The Cybi Coastal Marathon course circumnavigated Ynys Cybi on the coastal path and is hoping to establish itself as one of the most scenic marathons in the UK. The course followed the paths, tracks, beaches and coastline of the Welsh national/Anglesey Coastal Path with fine views of wide bays, sandy beaches, dramatic cliffs, the famous South Stack lighthouse and the summit of Holyhead Mountain. Caet Cuthbert completed the race in 6:49 and said the race was "beautiful but brutal."
