The Tour of Merseyside started at the Rimrose Valley Park Half Marathon. The course comprised three laps around the Rimrose Valley Country Park and started and finished on the athletics track in Gwenwyllin Road, Crosby. Olly Chadwick made a great start with second place in 01:12:47. There were age category wins for Rab Whitworth, Michele Alty and Rob Perry.
