The Staveley Trail Challenge 18k started and finished at Staveley Recreation Ground and the course followed footpaths and bridleways and took in panoramic views of most of the southern Lakeland fells. Phil Cuthbert finished third in 01:36 and Caet in 02:28. After the race Caet said "Another Saturday in the Lakes! This time running the Staveley 18k trail, with a quick swim in the river afterwards to wash the mud off."
