The North West Road Relays incorporated the county championships of Merseyside, Greater Manchester, Cheshire and Lancashire and were hosted at Heaton Park, Manchester. The men's race consisted of four 4km legs. Wallasey AC men's team finished twenty-third in 56:56, Olly Chadwick was off first and returned in 13:21, Steve Brealey was off next and returned in 14:33, Rob Pearse ran the third leg in 14:33 and Chris Jones ran the anchor leg in 14:28. The second team finished 85th in 01:08:01 - Sam Woods (17:04), Steve Norton (19:22), Luke Watson (16:10) and Mike Robson (15:20).
