The Vienna City Marathon passed the modern and historical sights of Vienna and crossed the River Danube over the Reichsbrucke bridge. A quarter of the course was on the route Eliud Kipchoge used for his 1:59 marathon in 2019. Dermot Gough travelled to Austria for the race and finished in 4:00:17.
