Joe Boden won the Birkenhead Park 5 mile race with a superb run, Joe won by 26 seconds in 25:21. First lady for the club was Michelle Alty in 37:28 for 13th lady, this effort also won Michelle an age category win. Mary Rees also won her age category. The race took place on a very warm evening under sunny skies.
