Alex Norton competed in the ESAA National Cross Country Championship in Temple Newsam Park in Leeds, the wind blew and the rain fell throughout the event making the going muddy. Alex Norton was selected for Merseyside and finished in 281st place and was third counter for the county. Unfortunately Merseyside failed to close a team.
