The Warrington Way Ultra was a 40 mile trail race that started and finished in the lovely Cheshire village of Lymm. Runners followed a route which is mostly on tracks, footpaths, field crossings and country lanes to circumnavigate the town of Warrington anticlockwise. The race was organised by Lymm Runners. Alex Yem competed in his first ultra and finished the course in 07:09 for 40th place and said after the race "Happy with that for my first trail ultra! It was so tough!".
