Wallasey AC Men competed in the North West Road Relays held at Edge Hill Sports Ground in Ormskirk. First off was Greg Jones who completed the first of four 5k laps in 17:05, leaving the team in 24th. Joe Boden moved the team up to 11th with a fine 15:50. Rob Pearse gained a further 2 places with 16:47 and Matt Gillbanks finished in 19:03. The total team time was 01:08:45 for 17th place and 5th on Merseyside. Joe Boden's leg was the fourth fastest for a Merseyside runner.
