On the weekend of 21 & 22 July the Conti Thunder Run was a 24 hour off-road challenge set in the grounds of Catton Park, Walton-on-Trent. This relay race was run against the clock with the team completing the most number of 10k laps being declared the winners. Wallasey A.C. had a team in the mixed 6-8 category and completed 14 laps for 203rd place. The fastest lap of 01:04 was achieved by Alison Engle.
