The Raging Red Bull 5 started on the grassed area by the Red Bull monument, the runners then headed north along the promenade, as far as the Britannia Public House where there was a u-turn that brought the runners back to complete the 5 mile course. Jay Walker made short work of the race finishing in 28:35 for 4th place, Becky Blacklock was 5th lady in 35:04. The race also provided the runners the opportunity to race in fancy dress.
