The Broadway Marathon offered runners the opportunity to challenge themselves amid the stunning scenery of the northern Cotswolds. Starting and finishing in scenic Broadway village, the route followed trails and roads among picturesque villages, woodlands, and hills. The majority of the course was trail or unpaved track. John Basset made the trip to the Cotswolds and finished the challenging course 04:41 for 39th place.
