Tattenhall Tough Team - Tattenhall - Seniors
Open Races

Day - Friday
Date - 23/06/2017
Distance - 8.7 Miles
The Tattenhall Tough Team Race has been running for over 10 years and has become an institution in the Summer Running Calendar. It takes place on the Friday in June closest to the longest day and is a competitive, tough but fun multi-terrain race. The race distance is 8.6 miles and includes the infamous 'railway' or 'stairway to hell' as it is affectionately known which is a 315 feet climb to the top of Bulkeley Hill. The race is for teams of three with the team achieving the time of the last finisher so teamwork as well as on and off road running are put to the test.
The race started and finished at Tattenhall Recreation Club. Ten teams from the club completed the race with Matt Goodwin, Rob Pearse and Greg Jones picking up the Men's prize for fourth place (01:04:06) and Jez Fellick, Neil Toner and Tony Barbat the Vets prize for sixth place (01:07:33).
