The Kentmere Trail Challenege started and finished at Staveley Recreation Ground the course followed footpaths and bridleways, taking in panoramic views of most of the southern Lakeland fells. The trail climbed out from Staveley above the Kentmere valley, and returned along the valley itself past idyllic tarns and through ancient woodland, climbed Reston Scar before the descent back into Staveley village. Caet Cuthbert finished the race in 01:24.
