Runners from Wallasey AC, Chester Tri Club, Penny Lane Striders, Ellesmere Port Running Club and hosts Wirral AC competed in the 10k track race at Bebington Oval. On a fine evening Greg Jones and Nick Holt had good runs crossing the finish line in 34:18 (second) and 39:20 (third) respectively.
