Over 700 athletes lined up for the Southport Half Marathon in Princes Park. Conditions were blistering hot for the runners but that didn't deter 6 Wallasey athletes from taking part. First over the line was Adam Owen-Smith in 01:30 and 47th place, he was closely followed by Bryan Stevenson.
