Richard Webster competed in the Leadville 100 in Colorado. The race had strict cut off times and more runners failed to finish than finished. The race consisted of one hundred miles of extreme Colorado Rockies terrain from elevations of 9,200 to 12,600 feet. The majority was on forest trails with some mountain roads. Richard finished in 28 hours 12 minutes and was 176th of the 363 finishers a great effort.
