4 Wallasey Athletic Club athletes joined over 500 others in the Hoylake 10k. The weather conditions were warm and a strong wind blew in the faces of the runners on their return from Leasowe to Hoylake. Greg Jones ran well crossing the line in 5th place in a time of 36:31, also running well was John Armstrong in 10th place in 37:41.
