Three Wallasey athletes took part in the North West Classic Triathlon. The event starts with the swim in the only heated outdoor brine swimming pool in Great Britain, followed by a one lap 12.4 mile cycle around the South Cheshire countryside until returning to the Barony Park in Nantwich for the final run, in and around the park itself. Dave Walton had a good race completing the course in 01:09:39. Jane Woodhead (pictured) was pleased with her first tri coming home in 01:26:46. Rachel Saunders was nearly 4 minutes quicker than her attempt at this event in May completing the three disciplines in 01:32:05.
