5 of Wallasey's ladies entered the Liverpool Women's 10k. The cool weather suited the runners with Sharon Lamont coming home first for the club in 45:02 for 41st place, 3rd in her age category and a personal best. Jane Woodhead knocked over a minute off her personal best completing the course around Sefton Park in 45:18 for 42nd. Vicky Kehoe was next in 47:11 followed by Nicci Davies in 49:05. Di McArdle ran well to complete her first 10k in 54:44.
