4 Wallasey men entered the Thurstaston Summer Multi Terrain Challenge. Joe Johnston produced an excellent run to finish 6th overall and completed the challenging 6 mile course in 38:30. Not far behind was Keith McLaughlin in 39:49 (15th). They were followed up by Mike Cockburn in 44:16 (42nd) and Rolf Westrum 53:26 (92nd).
