4 of Wallasey's senior men entered the North West Road Relays at Sefton Park. Four counties were contesting the race and Wallasey's team finished 32nd. First off was Greg Jones who completed the 5.3k course in 18:06 for Wallasey's fastest time of the day. Second was Keith Simpson who recorded 18:39 and third man was Matt Williams who finished in 19:23. The last leg was run by Tony Barbat in 18:37.
