Tricia Jones won her age category at the Chester Round the Walls race, Tricia completed the 4 mile run in 30:25. The event started and finished at the Chester Racecourse (the Roodee) the oldest racecourse still used in England. The race started with a lap around the perimeter of the racecourse and then joins the riverside path. The runners then crossed Castle Drive to join the historic city walls for an anti-clockwise lap, passed over the iconic Eastgate clock before returning to the Racecourse via the steps from Nuns Road. After passing in front of the grandstand the race finished on the grass in the centre of the Roodee.
