Lawrence Cowdray won the one mile Summer Handicap race by 11 seconds completed the lap of two of the dips in 6:38. Mark Doherty won the men's race with a 7:49 and Nicci Chapman won the ladies race in 8:01. After the race Nicci said "First Lady, and in all the years of me being a Wallasey AC member, my first piece of silverware. Delighted, what a great morning!" Fastest runner was Jack Poland in 5:17 and the fastest lady was Becky Blacklock in 6:01.
