The second race of the series took place at Thurstaston in the Wirral Country Park. The course consisted of two loops of the beach and the Wirral Way. The men finished in second place on the night and counters were Chris Jones (5th), Jack Poland (9th), Rob Pearse (10th), Ray Clark (14th) and Mike Jones (37th). The ladies finished eleventh with Jan McArd (29th), Michelle Alty (33rd) and Joniece Thompson (41st) counting. William Hampshire finished eighth in the under 15 boys.
