Vicky McConnell led Wallasey AC's women to a team victory at the opening fixture at Sherdley Park. Vicky returned in a great third place and was assisted by Kat Cowdray (8th), Sue Reynolds (10th) and Jan McArd (11th). The men finished in sixth place with counters being George Gillies (11th), Chris Bowers (32nd), Paul Griffiths (33rd), Dan Hoare (36th), Paul Saunders (48th) and Pete Barham (54th).
