Lisa Griffiths finished 22nd (39:31) in the Merseyside Cross-Country Championships at Sherdley Park. The 5-mile course was one small and two large laps. Not far behind was Sue Reynolds (23rd), Jan McArd was 26th and the team was completed by Kat Cowdray (27th) giving the ladies 98 points. The just missed out on the medals finishing in fourth place.
