Some superb running was achieved by the Wallasey AC runners who took part in the London Marathon. Jay Walker became the fastest marathoner for the club for 40 years with a personal best run of 2:37, a superb effort. Phil Walton went under 3 hours with a 2:56. Vicky Kehoe wasn't far off her personal best with 3:28 and Sallie Holt made a return from injury with a 3:33.
