With favourable winds many of Wallasey AC's thirty runners in the 5th Wirral Seaside Run achieved personal bests and course bests. First home was Joe Boden who was narrowly edged into second place in 16:16, not far behind him was Greg Jones in 16:56 (4th). First lady home for the club was Helen Anne Stansfield in 20:12 and third lady overall.
