Borders League



Race 1 - Tattenhall - 28/09/2025 - Seniors


The first Borders League race of 2025-2026 took place at Tattenhall. 448 runners toed the line. The 9.8 km course was full of turns and hills. Olly Chadwick ran well to finish eighth. The other counters for the men who finished fourth included Louis Gorman (33rd), George Gillies (35th), Alan Kennedy (38th), Mike Jones (53rd), Gabriel Pearse (58th), Rob Pearse (59th), Steven Leslie (65th) and Michael Robson (72nd). The ladies finished fifth on the day with captain Jan McArd (34th), Kat Cowdray (37th), Lisa Griffiths (42nd), Sue Reynolds (44th), Zoe Crisp (66th) and Taylor Hoather (76th) counting.

Wirral Multi Terrain Series



Race 1 - Royden Park - 02/09/2025 - Under 15 Boys


Pak Ho Chow competed in the under 15 race coming 7th.

Race 1 - Royden Park - 02/09/2025 - Senior Women


Vicky McConnell (9th) was our first lady finisher at the opening fixture of the Wirral Multi Terrain Series in Royden Park. The women's team were fourth on the night and other counters were Becky Blacklock (13th) and Lisa Griffiths (21st).

Race 1 - Royden Park - 02/09/2025 - Senior Men


Olly Chadwick led the Wallasey AC men home at the opening fixture of the Wirral Multi Terrain Series in Royden Park. The men's team were second on the night and other counters were Gabriel Pearse (12th), Alan Kennedy (13th), Pete Clarke (23rd) and Mike Jones (24th).

Lawrence Cowdray competed in the under 13 race coming 12th.

Race 2 - Wirral Coastal Park - 09/09/2025 - Senior Men


Olly Chadwick had a great race at the second fixture of the Wirral Multi-Terain Series coming away with a victory. The A team finished second on the night with other counters being Gabriel Pearse and Alan Kennedy.

Race 2 - Wirral Coastal Park - 09/09/2025 - Under 15 Boys


Pak Ho Chow competed in the under 15 race coming 5th.

Race 2 - Wirral Coastal Park - 09/09/2025 - Senior Women


Vicky McConnell (7th) was our first lady finisher at the second fixture of the Wirral Multi Terrain Series in Wirral Coastal Park. Hot on her heels were Becky Blacklock in eighth and Lisa Griffiths in tenth. These impresive performances left the ladies in second place in the team race.

Race 3 - Wirral Country Park - 16/09/2025 - Senior Men


Olly Chadwick ran well to pick up third place at the third Wirral Multi Terrain Series race at Wirral Country Park. The men's team were third and the other counters were Gabriel Pearse (16th), Mike Jones (20th), Patrick Cuthbert (21st) and Phoenix Pearse (34th). Rich Webster won his age category.

Race 3 - Wirral Country Park - 16/09/2025 - Under 15 Boys


Pak Ho Chow competed in the under 15 race coming 5th.

Race 3 - Wirral Country Park - 16/09/2025 - Senior Women


The ladies finished in fourth place at the third fixture of the Wirral Multi Terrain Series at Wirral Country Park. Counters were Lisa Griffiths (15th), Jan McArd (21st) and Kat Cowdray (22nd).

Race 3 - Wirral Country Park - 16/09/2025 - Under 13 Boys


Lawrence Cowdray competed in the under 13 race coming 12th.

Race 4 - Arrowe Park - 23/09/2025 - Under 13 Boys


Lawrence Cowdray competed in the under 13 race coming 12th.

Race 4 - Arrowe Park - 23/09/2025 - Under 15 Boys


Pak Ho Chow competed in the under 15 race coming 6th.

Race 4 - Arrowe Park - 23/09/2025 - Senior Women


The final race of the Wirral Multi Terrain Series was held at Arrowe Park, our ladies finished joint sixth on the night and fifth overall, a solid performance. Counters were Lisa Griffiths (13th), Kat Cowdray (29th) and Jan McArd (30th). Individual age category positions went to Sue Reynolds - 3rd WO50, Nicci Davies - 3rd WO65 and Mary Rees - 2nd W070.

Race 4 - Arrowe Park - 23/09/2025 - Senior Men


The final race of the Wirral Multi Terrain Series was held at Arrowe Park, the men ran well to finish second on the night and second overall. Gabriel Pearse led the men's team home in eighth place. Other counters were Patrick Cuthbert (16th), Michael Robson (20th), Phoenix Pearse (25th) and Steven Leslie (27th). Individual age category positions went to Gabriel Pearse - 2nd U17, Olly Chadwick - 3rd Senior Male and 2nd MU40, Rich Webster - 1st MO55, Phil Dabner - 3rd MO55, Mike Dyson 2nd MO60, Rab Whitworth 3rd MO65.

Road Relays



NW Counties - Birkenhead Park - 14/09/2025 - Senior Men


The club had four teams at the North West Counties Road Relays held at Birkenhead Park and organised by Merseyside AA. The relays incorporated the county championships of Merseyside, Greater Manchester, Cheshire and Lancashire and the A tema came away with bronze medals after great running from Joe Boden, Olly Chadwick, Jack Poland and Louis Gorman. The A team finished in 01:01:58 for 13th place overall, B team 01:10:37 for 55th, C team 01:24:39 for 91st place and D team 01:29:31 (95th). Each leg involved two laps of the park making a total of 4.7k. Great running all round.

NW Counties - Birkenhead Park - 14/09/2025 - Under 17 Men


Patrick Cuthbert, Phoenix and Gabriel Pearse represented the club at the North West Counties Road Relays held at Birkenhead Park. In the Under 17 Men's race, unfortunately Gabriel Pearse fell and was unable to participate. Patrick Cuthbert and Phoenix Pearse ran solo legs. Patrick 16:51, Phoenix 17:08.

NW Counties - Birkenhead Park - 14/09/2025 - Senior Women


The ladies had to run 4.7km legs against other counties in the North West Road Relays at Birkenhead Park. The ladies A team finished 41st in 01:03:03, B team were 63rd in 01:15:17 and C team in 01:26:22 (68th).
