Monday, May 1, is the opening date of the summer track season and all members of Wallasey Athletic Club will be welcome at Leasowe Road playing fields.
Training will be on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 7 to 9 p.m., when a 440 yards grass track, jumping pits and throwing sectors will be laid out, and a full range of impedimenta available.
The first step towards the acquisition of the clubs new permanent headquarters has been completed with the purchase of suitable wooden hutting which will be erected shortly adjacent to the Playing Fields.
