Harriers - Homecroft Harriers

Cowley Mission Harriers visited Homecroft last Saturday when a six mile run through took place. The race was started in a heavy shower of rain and the Marshes were found to be very hard going.

C. Millington, one of the finest cross-country runners in the North of England represented the visitors but preferred taking matters easy. A fine race was witnessed for first place, the greatly improved young Gresham Mole ultimately beating Begg by three yards, with T. J. Brookes half a yard in the rear, and Charlie Millington close up.

The counting up showed the visitors with a smaller total than the home team, but as the season is yet young the latter will again have a chance of reversing this score. Details:-
