Hill Triumphs in Road Race



Bolton United harrier, Ron Hill, maintained an unbeaten record in road races in Britain stretching back 14 months when he won the Warrington seven-mile event by 200 yards yesterday from cross-country international Don Shelley (North Staffs).

Blackpool: for whom Geoff North finished a disappointing seventh, had four points to spare over Wallasey and Bolton in an exciting team race.
