The Hercules Athletic Club will hold their sixth annual evening sports meeting in connection with the Wallasey Gala at the Central Park, Liscard, on Wednesday, July 7, at 7.30 p.m.
Valuable prizes will be given for the following handicaps:- 80 yards, 80 yards (women), 80 yards (veterans, 40 years and over); one lap, six laps, pole jump, long jump, high jump, and one mile walk. Entrance fees, 1s. for one event, any additional event 6d. All entries must be made on the club entry form, and must reach the Sports Hon. Secretary, Mr. F. J. Connolly, 55, South Hill road, Liverpool, 5., on Wednesday, June 30.
