The Wallasey Branch of the Hercules Athletic Club visited Bebington for the combined meet of the Liverpool & District Cross-country Association.
It was a most enjoyable run and success attended a junior member of the branch in the junior mile break, W. Richards running splendidly to finish second of a large entry for the event. To-day a branch run will take place from headquarters, The Pavilion, Harrison Park, Wallasey, at 3.15 p.m.
The branch are desirous of increasing the membership and prospective members are asked to communicate with the hon. secretary, S. G. Edgar, 68, Littledale-road, Egremont.
