Last Saturday from headquarters, the cricket pavilion, Harrison Park, a pack of twenty-five runners turned out under the captaincy of W. Broomhead and a distance of six miles was covered at an easy pace for all.
The course was by way of the Wallasey Racecourse across the marshes to Bidston, skirting the Upton racecourse, back along the fields to Reed's-lane, and again to Leasowe-road, finish at Harrison Park at a steady pace. The run was thoroughly enjoyed by all taking part.
To-day the run is again from Harrison Park (time of start 3-15). Anyone wishing to join may turn out any Saturday from headquarters, and need have no fear of being "left," as there are experienced runners who remain at the rear to control the pace and who are willing at all times to give advice to new runners.
Full particulars as to membership can be obtained from the hon. secretary, S. G. Edgar, 68 Littledale-road, Egremont.
