K. Glover, the seventeen-years-old Wallasey runner who has been doing such great things recently, added further to his laurels on Saturday last.
He took part in the meeting of the Mersey Sports Club in the Port Sunlight arena, at which two Merseyside championships were decided. Glover was strongly fancied to win the 220 yards championship event, and justified anticipation by winning alter a great struggle with R. Cohen, the inter-University champion, in the excellent time of 23 2-5 seconds.
