At Ellesmere's 58th annual sports meeting on Whit Monday, Wallasey Athletic Club sprinter, Harry Lutas, won the 220 yards handicap off the 22 yd. mark in 22 seconds.
Club members are now in training for the first Cheshire County Athletic Championships, to be held at Port Sunlight Athletic Ground on Saturday, May 29th.
The club will be pleased to welcome new members interested in track and field athletics and weight-lifting at their summer training headquarters at the Tower Athletic Ground, New Brighton, on Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings at 7 p.m.
