Wallasey A.C. achieved a fine fourth place in the track league meeting at Kirby.
Highlight of the day was the double success in the long jump 'A' and 'B' events by D. Downie and D. Pendleton with identical jumps of 5.54 metres.
All athletes competed in fine fashion. This 4th placing was a fine performance, the backbone of which was the multiple events entered by B. Brimage, P. Smith, A. Johnson, D. Downie and D. Pendleton.
