For one local man the London Marathon represented a team effort to raise much needed cash for Muscular Dystrophy.
Dave Wilson, of Brook Close, took part along with more than 1,000 others to support this charity and the group hope to raise £120,000 from the event. Dave, centre, is pictured with actor Robert Powell and Harry 'Sportsnight' Carpenter.
