The corporate challenger road race was held at Bebington Oval with a 6-mile course through the town. Local firms and organisations took part. Pictured is the 'first lady home', Lynne Kennedy aged 16, of Wallasey Village, a member of Wallasey Athletic Club, who ran the course in 36 minutes eight seconds.
