Three girls from Wallasey Athletic Club, Barbara Jones, Siobhan Power and Janet McGee have been chosen to run for Great Britain in the European Catholic Schools Cross-Country event in Belgium.
Janet will also be competing in the 800 metres track event in Milan in July.
The senior 4 x 800 relay squad retained its Cheshire title. The many wins includeed a sprint double from Ian Mcleod.
Kevin McGee, recently selected for Great Britain, represents Merseyside Schools tomorrow in the All-England Schools Cross-Country championships at Newcastle.
Wallasey Athletic Club's annual meeting is on April 11.
